The FSGA and its successor the Freecom Network Storage Assistant (FNSA) are small programs to help the configuration of the FSG/DTG/NDP/MusicPal via a PC. It runs on any windows PC. It is also used for the recovery procedure. It is recommended to use the latest version of FSGA. Older versions have bugs or security issues with have been fixed in newer updates. Please be careful using beta firmwares. Note that the accompanying firmwares are for your device only.
